Description:
GENERAL SUMMARYSupports the sales and service organization by providing oversight to proposal generation, account installation, sales force automation, sales, service and broker measurements and compensation, and improving administrative work flow. Manages a team focused on providing sales and service with the information and tools necessary to meet or exceed growth, retention, and profitability goals.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides oversight for the proposal generation process to ensure all proposals are created accurately and submitted on time.
- Manages the sales incentive compensation process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Maintains the broker licensing standards and tracking.
- Ensures marketing support for the broker commissions process in conjunction with Finance.
- May oversee ASO group implementations and contracts, including banking set-up, and weekly claims invoicing.
- May monitor premium binders, accounts receivable records, and overdue invoices for health plan(s).
- May direct the health plan's preparation, processing, and maintenance of new members and enrollment.
- Builds and maintains collaborative relationships and alliances with internal and external customers to achieve business goals.
- Evaluates and implements technological tools to support the sales and service process. Streamlines administrative work flows as necessary to support economical and efficient processes.
- Completes special projects and adhoc reports as requested.
- Provides budget and expense analysis monthly. Generates sales and service activity measures/reporting.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Significant (7-10 years) experience in sales administration in the health care industry.
- Previous (5-7 years) management experience.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
